"F***s your truck up, creeps on DD to see if you're talking s***" Scumbag Nick
Technically, it was his truck to **** up....
Well he was suppose to do head gaskets, studs, Trans, and s366. Summary, truck sat at the shop he was working for MONTHS, got it back the first time, return line went, fuel filled crankcase blew oil out front vent. Returned the truck, get the truck back, downpipe is hitting the firewall, rigged coolant tank, rigged battery setup in the bed, still had pressure on the cooling system.
Moved my batteries and got a oem coolant tank. Threw his shit out. Took my truck to a reliable shop in Salisbury, NC. Ended up finding almost every valve cover bolt stripped or damaged. Had an injector cup that was leaking that had no sign of any kind of sealant. So after another $5k the truck is fixed correctly. I have a whole box of bolts and etc that were stripped or damaged.
Not in his case it wasn't...
Ah. Thought he was talking of how the previous owner "built" the truck. I guess I'd be pretty pissed off too.
Wonder how this guy even worked on trucks ? I imagine him with a hammer and a crescent wrench with multiple tabs of "how to" and DYI threads opened on a laptop.
that is true, and the likelihood of a blown turbo causing a runaway is quite slim, was just something on my mind.if you get enough oil in the intercooler before you notice a run-away, its still going to run for a while till enough oil burns off in the intercooler. the air blade is the quickest way to kill the motor.
i thought i read somewhere on how someone made a cheap one off an intercooler pipe
