Did you just pull the door trim off?? How easily did it come off and did it leave any faded marks where they were removed??

Looks good

Truck looks sick! Not overdone on anything either, good and clean.;)

On the CV axles, are you putting in factory or aftermarket CVs? I have tried Napa and Advanced Auto junk (actually same part # I came to find out) and neither handled what the factory ones did.

The door trim was a real PITA, well not getting the chrome off but the double sided glue they use is really on there. I kept spraying the adhesive remover on there and little by little rolling it off. I tried a plastic scraper that did nothing, I tried a heat gun witch just made it hot goo:( For me just rolling the adhesive in little balls worked the best, but it still took me all of 2hrs to get them done. As far as being faded I did not notice any shade differance in the paint but even if there was it would only take 10min with a high speed buffer to fade them out..

Can you get a bed shot of it?

You mean were I cut it in and mounted it? I just used a 90 deg.. elbow over the frame and painted it with blk stove paint. I cut the hole with a 4 1/8" hole boring bit so I could save the piece to re-mig in If I change my mind down the road. I used a threaded rod with 2 - 90 deg.. bends to mount the upper braket to the bed while also keeping some ajustability to align the stack. I will try to get a pic later..

Eraser wheel is the best thing for removing that glue

I do remember you mentioning that in another thread, but I did not really plan on removing them at the time:rolleyes: The chrome part peeled off easy so I was like, "what the hell" I might aswell just rip them all off:badidea: Im glad I pulled them off I just wish I picked a better time to do it then 20min before we were supose to leave for a 30th B-day party, needless to say the wife was pissed and we were about an 1hr or so late for the surprise part:rolleyes::D

I just wanted to see how you got it over so far to the right. Looks good from what I can see.

That is part of the reason why I love the 3500. No door mouldings. :D

Yeah, I never really liked red trucks before I got mine, I still wish I held out for a blk on blk CC,SB,LTZ but when I bought it I could not find exactly what I was looking for so I settled:rolleyes: I am liking it more and more as it gets faster and more truck (TOUGH) looking if you know what I mean:D Eventually when it gets beat up enough its getting flat blk Line-X'd..:D
