Yeah there kinda fun little toys when they work/run right. Lmao it still gets 22-23mpg with the big tires on it and horsin around. Lol its very slow on street but when out playin on trails in 4lo it really moves around ok in 1-3rd gear. It lives at 6500rpm on trails. Im actully lookin at putting a gtp 3.8supercharger motor in it. I have a good hook up on them. Should really wake it up.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369146357.149399.jpg here's my daily driver... 96 Chevy Corsica 3.1 v6 267,000 miles. My friend sold it to me with the promise it would probably blow up in a week for 450 dollars. I bought it back when I had my 5.9 dodge and was blowing 5 speeds every month. It had 199,000 miles on it. In the picture you can see I have a busted headlight. That happened this winter when I hit a deer at 65mph. Ya that's all the damage it did lol. And if your wondering, yes the bulb still works for some miraculous reason even after driving in snow and rain. I have put thermostats, tires, all 4 shocks (after the struts pulled out) and front bushings. It runs rich and blows black smoke lol. It lopes like a pro mod. And gets 20mpg. And no it's not for sale haha

98 Buick Century CUSTOM. 187xxx on the clock, 25mpg in NYC traffic. Im 99% positive that the trans fluid has never been changed:thumb: This car is so comfortable I will probably throw another motor/trans in it when she blows.

My DD is a 1996 Honda Accord 2 door coupe. It has 260,000 miles and still going. The paint is peeling off. It leaks oil constantly. The seats are falling apart and the leather is cracked and ripped. I have soda stains on the carpet. The power door locks do not work. The power windows need a little help to go up. The air conditioning works great. That is the key piece as it gets HOT here in the Midwest. I am milking it until I can get something else, but it is good for the time being.

I'm sure many of you put a ton of miles on your hoopties. I put about 350 miles on mine every week. How many of you are nervous setting out on a long trip in yours? I just put about 700 miles on mine this past weekend. It handled it well other than using a bit of coolant.
BTW my "hoopty" is a 2008 GMC 1500 with a 6.0L gas. It has a failing 4L70E and questionable at best oil pressure. The body is also a little rough.
