I got a 93 accord. It's a LOADED 4 door. 270,00 miles and it leaks oil. It stops leaking when it's a quart low, so I leave it there LOL. Both front windows don't roll down and the windshield is cracked. It has A/C that doesn't work. The pump is froze up so the belt sqeels realy good for a few seconds every time I start it. I bought some cheapo tires that I don't rotate, all 4 cost me 70 bucks mounted and balanced. There's more but you get the point. I don't have any pictures because i've never cared to take a picture of it.

I drive the crap out of it. I don't drive the truck at all hardly. Only to diesel event's and maybe to dinner, when it's not raining. I woun't fix anything on the car but my truck is getting a full trans build right now. Funny how that works. ' only paid 1K for it and i've beat on it and got my money out of it. I'll be owning it for a few more years hopefully.

94 Ford Ranger extended cab step side, 4x4 with 4.0 and 5 speed. 185,000 miles and still runs like a champ. I drive it everyday to work (7 miles) and typically always do drive it if i don't want something nice. It's in very good shape though, put some el cheapo mud tires on it and run the shit out of it. For 2500 bucks I would have been stupid to pass it up.

As said above it is so much easier just to get around in, especially on country roads which is what most roads are around here.

D-max mostly sleeps in the garage:thumb:

I never drive it though I miss the duramax too much

In good shape or rusted up? If nice, I wouldnt consider that car to be a beater by any stretch of the imagination.
IIRC, that year had the swivel buckets, didnt it? T-top car?
Sorry, you start talking '60s/'70 vintage cars and my ears perk up.

I had a 91 Cavalier like Tom but no "Z24" :(

Now I've got an 87 Volkswagen Quantum, with inline 5 cylinder (rotory pump gas injected) and 5 speed tranny (with slipping clutch). Blew out the two rear brake bias valves (like the old GM 1 ton duallies) which I can't believe a car like this would have one nevermind two and have since bypassed, the paint is all but gone, the floor has holes in it as evertime it rains the rear floor gets wet, the A/C doesn't work, the driver's side mirror can't be seen out of, and if you load more than 3 people in the car the rear suspension bottoms out over every bump.

Other than that it's a sweet ride that gets 25MPG :happy2:

I didn't want to pay $600 a month for my truck and drive some piece of sh!t so that's what made me retire it back to stock. It hasn't been raced or pulled since 2007.:( That's why I bought my new project.

Well it's stock until I'm pushed and then I flip the DSP2 switch.:cool2:

I just bought a 99 convertible mustang for $400 that I might drive some if I can make it dependable enough and not look like too much of a snatch driving it.

I drive a 1989 Olds 98 4 door. Paid $300 for it. The paint is wasted, but it has leather, ac, pw everything and get about 28 to 30 mpg. I retired my ugly 81' accord because it was cheaper to buy this one. You may all laugh but the honda is headed for a make over. My son wants me to put it on our luv frame with a dmax in it to race. haven't convinced mom yet but we're working on it.

With fuel creeping up to $3/gallon, I may just keep driving it to work after the truck gets finished.

It was a sad day today.....we sold the Cavalier. :( Decided to find Kole a new car, he's now driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT....mainly because the Cav was beginning to stall out occasionally, the trans was balking when cold, and the rust was beginning to be a problem again.

Good bye, old friend. Roni will sure miss you.
