This picture was snapped by a traffic camera on the Information Highway.

The driver was let off with a warning, and given a wheelbarrow full of money to help with their mental anguish.

The pedestrian is not dead. Just maimed. And fined $$$ for scaring the driver.

The spectators are claiming they did not see anything, since they must cross that road daily.

This site is my favorite diesel site, however you cannot say that dieselplace is dead just yet. I see no ads which you speak of probibly because i am an active member. Also compare the marketplace at DP to here, the DP is 10x larger than this one. Im not attacking my favorite site but there just is not the mass appeal over here that DP already has.

DP will always be bigger than this site. Most owners aren't into high performance, and that is the main focus of this site.

Like I've said before, I'd still be on the TDP if they didn't ban me, and I encourage folk to visit other sites. I read about a dozen performance sites.

the reasons i like DD over DP: smaller crowd of people i like to know who im talking to, high performance even though this current moment i have a diablo i have and in the future am going to have more high performance questions than anything else, last but not least is the enviroment of this place, its way more friendly and not so much bs and arguing going on... this is just my :2cents:

things just got worse with some recent changes...the free exchange of information will be stifled by the gestapo...

Was it ever allowed? I was going to post more videos of Pat and Casper running LSR. But, after the last fiasco I PM'd the Admin at the time for permission since I didn't want to cause any trouble and was told to hold off. Never heard back so I won't be posting videos or pictures over there any longer as not to jeopardize my membership.

One thing I do find funny, back in the day before they had thier video section or youtube was out. I was good enough for the staff to refer people to me host videos for then:(

it is sad and I still blame Nick and his lingering dislike for these situations based around Pat and Casper. Everyone should be allowed to see and enjoy Casper's accomplishments.

Yeah, that is kind of funny. First they have us host their videos because were too cheap to use the site money for hosting space, then they ban links to our site.

I know a lot of folk who like Nick, and I was one of them at one time. But perhaps things in the Dmax community would have been better off if everyone had stayed at The Diesel Page, where it all started. The owner there was a true GM diesel enthusiast who spent tons of time writing articles about our trucks. We followed Nick to the new board with the promise that there would be no favoritism for sponsors. Nick never filled Jim Bigley's shoes.

Recruiting to the "new" board was done by PM's and links in threads, hence the reason DP had to start monitoring PM's and killing links.

If you get a chance, stop by www.thedieselpage.com and look at all the articles the owner wrote and accumulated. It's still one of the best resources for those with stock GM diesel pickups.

Oh great...what happened now?

Kat, I'll ask Andrew about the vids when I speak to him later.

Maybe you could get Nick and Chad banned and some things might go back to normal over there...................

and for good measure put Cole in miserable users like they just did to Mackin for speaking up.............

Same old "Place" just a different owner, Oh and just a few hundred new, non related ads as well................

Yes it does appear that they are worried of my negativity more so as to other members present staff which very much so includes past plain Jane members that were vocal their and other sites to the changes which have now had an about face and joined the team.

The irony is that NOW they want you to just 'get over it' what is done is done . I find that interesting because for some reason if their name is in green or red they think that they are going to be able to make changes. Wont happen NEVER and I cannot believe that they're that naive or foolish to believe so. More so they just want their name in Green Or Red to be associated with that site no matter the back stabbing to the past and present members it portrays!

You should have strong convictions to your beliefs and not be wishy washy.

There is NO BALLS out there to actually to do the right thing. Tony you did the right thing and I tell you if all the vendors followed suit and wanna be staff did the site would have tanked and been at a point of our mercy. The vendors DO NOT need that site for advertisement their names are out there. There is a whole plethora of sites that deserve your support and technical information NOT a site that has you competing with Google and Ebay adds that have NEVER put a second of time in technically supporting that web site!

NO BALLS!

Instead what you have are suckers. I mean that with all do respect to vendors but NOT the current staff there!

The current staff (most) are glory seekers of wearing the Green Hat FINALLY being part of a big site that once was. NOW they want to do damage control to support the current administration while they LINE their pockets with cash. Sure hang in there and when they throw you a bone for pennies on the dollar that will make it all better.

Throw away all your beliefs just for the almighty penny. Push the Google and Ebay adds and "Gold Membership Lifetime memberships" and you piece of the pie will increase!

Is there any balls left out there or is this what we have become? Complacent willing to except defeat and you wonder why are next leader of this country is who he is.

You want to make a statement you want to bring someone to their knees ,untuck your balls and do it!

I tell you if I had the resources at my disposal today it would take 6 months :D
