well its been a while but the short block is done. due to some unseen delays i had to send the parts off to Tony B for him to build my short block. i ended up buying a set of SoCal valve springs from jpowel on here and a SoCal cam from Chris (drholiday). so this entire idea of a budget has gone out the window. hope to have the motor in by the end of Oct (give my self a big window) due to my daughter being born Nov 18th.

glad to hear, i am in the same boat as you, my motor died and my short block is still out but money has been tight due to me finding out im having twins lol, is your daugher due nov 18th? congrats by the way :thumb:

i blew mine up first week of may and am just getting ready to put it in this weekend we need to swap injectors lol i've got stock ones with big twins

yes daughter is due Nov 18th congrats on the twins :thumb:both boys or girls or one of each ?

What budget? Youre well past any thought of a "budget" anymore, Justin. Heck, you're "accidentally" building a 1000hp Dmax. :rofl:

Oh, I cant stop at Tony's and get your motor for you. No vacation time left.

naw i dont think i would have a 1000hp truck... well guess i just need some more air and im sure i could get close... :rolleyes:

its ok Tom, you will just have to swing by once im in Hawaii with the fam :thumb:

here is how she sits right now. i dont have the cam yet, get that today, so i couldnt put the heads on. and there is my little Mitusa. funny how much smaller this one is then the other.

well the motor is all together and in the truck. just have to run all the wires and put the front end back on. ran into some delays this week. really wanted it all together but hey cant have everything. will keep you all posted as to how it goes and once i get her running.

cant wait to have my truck back

all patience goes out the window from here, make sure nothing got into your intercooler while it was out...... a small bolt must have been in mine drove for 2 days then cranked up the boost, lost one valve, guide, seat and i have one valve relief slightly larger than others :mad:
all set now though

yea from tuesday to friday i got everything together and in the truck.

well here is how she sits right now. got down to Dustin's shop for a few hrs today and put most the front end back on her. just have the grill and hood. gonna try to reinstall the trans, TC and drive shafts some time this week. still waiting on a few parts to get in before i can start her up. cant wait :happy2:

It's running great now, the twins are awesome, incredible power and response, spools like stock with 3 times the power

Well just an update. The stock turbo is not being used. Bought a S472 from Dustin doing a custom y brigde the fuel system is done have 1/2 in line from the tank to the cp3. Wirring is done. Trans is in with TC and drive shafts. Just need to install the turbo and a trans line and a/c line. Other then that she is about done. All I want for xmas is my truck to be able to drive
