Decided I wanted my second battery back so I made a frame mount for it today and got it hooked back up. Will pull ot nack off tomorrow amd paint it. Was going to splice the cables but found out you can simply re route them and they are plenty long enough. Had some thick rubber mat laying around that I cut a piece from amd laid in the bottom of the mount for some cushion.

Tomorrow I'll be starting on my drive line hoops also.

That looks like a sturdy battery frame. Mine was mounted in the back of the bed and was never an issue back there. Took up the corner space but was fine. I am sure you will like having the battery there.

I debated the bed but decided the frame would be better for me.

Make sure you have a battery disconnect switch with dual batteries and compound chargers. I got busted @ RMR not having this. They told me they would let it slide but not to come back with it lol.

They are pretty lenient at the midnight drags. If it is an issue, I'll just go back to one battery.

What made you go back with the second battery?

It just cranked slower than i liked. Also if i ran my radio while sitting in my truck, it would barely start. Kinda got annoying. Doesn't help that these batteries are 6 years old too.
