The builder said 500 miles then change the oil and then I'm good. I'm at about 330 miles right now...I've gotten on it a few times but haven't held it for more than a few seconds.

I need to get over the old stock motor..I keep thinking I'm going to throw a rod, and then I remember..not anymore:D


Lol I hammered down from the second it started . I've already put 700 miles on mine haha

this surprises me, we always change them within the first 50 miles then again at 500. just a filter change at 250 also. i dont want all the break in trash and pre lube in the motor for all those miles.

This what I'd did except I started it ran it for 30 mins or so to warm up and check for leaks ect and then changed oil drove it 50 changed it again ect ect oil has been changed 5 times in 2800 miles lol

Negative. I don't have any way to cut it open without getting the cuttings all over in the filter.

A large knife is what I use. The proper tool is expensive for how much I would use it. I broke the CAT one I had.

I did about the same in my personal truck, hard to get customers to pay for that many oil changes unfortunately.

Anything that will shear and not actually cut. Just need one half then you can rip it open.
