Congrats! Sounds good

I noticed the same thing. Dash reads 185f but its really 168f going down the hwy. Thermostats getting changed this weekend.

No need. The gauge on the dash is a dummy. They're all off. Alot.

Been out driving today. Looks like my engine side of the turbo drain is leaking damnit. Maybe next week I'll pull the turbo again and fix it.

Sucks, wouldn't it be nice if everything just went as it should?

Here is a little colder start this morning. 26 degrees, been sitting for 12 hours. My tunes are setup to idle up to 1000 rpm depending on coolant temp. Fired right up with a little bit of smoke. I think it will be grumpy trying to start down in to the teens. Luckily it doesn't usually drop that cold here.

Is there a list of everything your build consists of? Did you reuse your oil cooler? Stock pushrods or aftermarket?

I reused my oil cooler yes. I went with merchant automotive chromoly pushrods.

Here is a current list of motor/trans.

Motor:
Carrillos
16:1 .020" fingers oval bowls
Industrial injection girdle/arp main studs
Main caps doweled to the block
Socal diesel super damper
Socal diesel billet flex plate
ARP rocker arm stud kit
Black Victor reinz grade c gaskets
Empire diesel AF street cam
Merchant automotive chromoloy pushrods
ARP head studs
Melling m316 oil pump
Socal diesel stage 1 ported heads
Beehive valve springs/chromoly retainers/keepers

Trans:
Billet input
Billet output
Billet c2 hub
Billet p2 planetary
GPZ non slotted Clutches
New stock c5 clutches
Suncoast 1055
Mike L shift/trim valve springs
And the other "power holders"

Fueling:
30% over injectors
Dual stock lbz cp3's
Fass 150

Air:
Billet 11 blade 72/87/1.0
Turbo kit by WCFAB

I think that's everything...

Got my new tunes just barely. She rips! It's as big as I wanted to go with these 30's. I didn't want to risk spraying outside of the oval bowls to much. Still have a few more break in miles before i can really let it eat...that is today's task. Head out around noon and put the rest of the miles on, change the oil then go have some fun.

How many miles would you consider to be your break in?

The builder said 500 miles then change the oil and then I'm good. I'm at about 330 miles right now...I've gotten on it a few times but haven't held it for more than a few seconds.

I need to get over the old stock motor..I keep thinking I'm going to throw a rod, and then I remember..not anymore:D
