Snagged a 2 ton engine lift today. I'm actually kinda impressed with how beefy the 2 ton harbor freight lift is. Their 1 ton looks like it's made from tin foil compared to this 2 ton.

Are those jugs behind the cherry picker for the next trans or converter swap? I have similar looking stuff in my garage lol.

Those jugs are fluid from Jakes trans and the wifes jeep oil change. I dropped the pan and changed the internal filter the other day. To lazy to go dump it at napa haha

Got a good deal on a set of socal diesel stage 1 ported heads. Came complete with socal beehive valve springs, hardened seats and chromoly retainers. Pretty stoked about it, they showed up on my door step about an hour ago.

It's a done deal. Just paid half down so they can order parts. I'll pull my motor tomorrow and tear it down then drive the short block up on Wednesday or Thursday morning! Getting excited.

Short block will consist of Fingers 16:1 pistons, carrillos, dowled main caps as well as a girdle, billet flex plate, ATI damper, Empire diesel stage 1 alt firing cam and clevite bearings. They are going to assemble the short block and I will finish the long block. Hope to have the motor back in and running in roughly 3 weeks.

Motor is out. the side mount I fabbed up is working like a champ. I've got a majority of the stuff off the top of the motor. Is is near a long block right now.
