The :witch: has been thinking. Scary thought I know :roflmao:

We are taking a cruise later in the summer out of Galveston.

But, instead of flying I thinking me might drive the motorhome instead. Since the last 2 times we drove to TX we drove straight though.

If we drive we will be taking 10 all the way across. I found a water park for the kids in Galveston.

Just wondering if there is anything else between El Paso and Houston that would be cool to see?

The water park in galveston is good if ur talking about sliterbahn or however it's spelled. I live about 45 mins south of there. You could always go fishing in the bays or gulf. Also I don't know if it's still there but I think there used to be a air craft carrier in Houston that you can tour. An if ur up for the drive down here we have muddrags.

If we fly I want to go a day or 2 early and stay there :thumb: It looked cool on the website. But, it's nice to hear it is actually true.

That is why we like cruises... We don't need a DD :woott:

Thanks for all the ideas guys

Don't know if it is still there after the last big hurricane but there is or was a old Diesel submarine in Galveston as well . Use to be open for tours. It was where the crew and supply boat docks where .

Goin to schlitterbaun next weekend lol... Stop at balmorhea state park on 10, just west of fort Stockton, Texas. I believe it's the largest natural spring pool in Texas. It's awesome u can swim with the fish. It's literally in the middle of a desert but deff worth the trip. It's only like 5 min off the interstate. It's worth stopping and staying for a few hours. Just tell pat don't get in bc the water is amaZingly cold year around, an it will deff give u a scare lol

I just looked at my schedule and I'll be working that weekend. :(

I live close and would have enjoyed showing you guys around Galveston.

I might be able to hook you up with parking if you can remind me and let me make some phone calls.

Galveston has several places. Schlitterbahn water park, Moody Gardens, The Strand, The Railroad Museum, and Sea Wolf Park.

You need to look around San Antonio for places like Fiesta, Sea World, The Zoo, and several other places. That could take a day or so just there.

I only live about 30 minutes from I45 at Galveston. If you need any assistance, just PM and let me know.
