Tcm tune defuel issues

I think their overrated. My tcm tune is 100% stock only change is wot shift rpm is 3750rpm. Shifts good enough to go 10.60's. granted I only use mine for mainly track use and wot, so part throttle shifting isn't a much of a concern for me.

That's like comparing cracker jacks to Cheerios. You have an 03 LB7, the OP has a LBZ. They act nothing alike in either ECM or TCM tuning or calculating defuel values. You can turn off defuel on a Lly or lb7 TCM and the engine will not defuel on shifts. The defuel is all in the ECM on a Lbz or LMM.


Raising shift points is merely a work around for not fixing the problem in the ECM tune. I'd fix the ECM tune first, then fine tune it with some TCM tweaks.
