5 speed lockup tables are coming out in april? Now I'm deffinately getting a tcm tune when there available.
Isn't there already somebody who found the tables to have lock up without a lock up box???? For the 6 speed?
Brian I must disagree. My experience with TCM tuning has proved it critical in good ET. 12.1 vs. 11.8. My TCM tune is very much modified which enabled me lockup in 2nd.
You do not have the exhaust flow for 4000rpm fwiw. The stock turbo is too restrictive for that rpm. My TCM has stock shift points. I tried higher and it didn't do anything but make EGT climb faster
My trans shifts better when it is locked, Bens box. The only bad shift was the 1-2, but since I raised the rpm up even that one feels great.

Shift at peak power to 100 rpms past and it will run as good as possible.
Dyno is useful for determining shift points. Shift right after peak power... Obviously
Hours and hours of logs and trial and error.

This is why I am saying 4,000 rpm on a stock/475 isn't doing any good
