yeah, I'm waiting on a price from Mike to change to the tightest 3 disc converter they have. I've heard the 1058 I have has had lockup issues on several trucks, not just me. That's why I'd love to get it to lock in third, but I'm probably wasting my time.
edit: just looked at your log, big difference in rpm drop down low. Mine just slips...............
here's a log from 2-14-08, a month after I bought the converter. Same thing, maybe 200 rpm drop or so in rpms on the 2-3 shift.

the 1054 would be a good choice , very tight when i had one in my truck.
