I put a Hayden 2850 fan clutch on my truck and turned the stock trans cooler a 180 degrees to get it more air flow and it worked great.

How are you guys flipping the trans cooler on the 2008-10 GMC's? Can't seem to get an answer.

The NBS trucks are 10 times more aerodynamic than the 2001-2006 trucks and have a much larger grill opening, the doghouse is larger and allows more air through so I would not think it is necessary like the LBZ trucks pictured at the bottom...

If it's a 2006 you'll get more air flow through the transmission cooler, but with the 1/4 of intercooler/condenser/radiator blocked you'll never get more air flow through the stack. When I modified my bumper my overall temperatures are down 10 degrees from 210 to 200 on the freeway and at idle are 180-185
