Decent shocks ( Rancho's or QA1's ) , caltracs or clamped springs and decent track prep should be fine , only way you will need more is if you decide to really stretch what ET you can get out of what ever you MPH is .

If you want to run 16's dont buy the spindles, as they will not fit, and arte very close even with 17's.

Qa1s are a little pricey, but they will drop your 60, that and slicks were the best thing i added to my chassis when i was racing.

If you want to run 16's dont buy the spindles, as they will not fit, and arte very close even with 17's.

My truck has the 3 inch shackles and stock torsion bars and keys all the way down. Then I added 2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch drop hangers.

Like said above, you want to run 16's get the lower control arms. You want to run 17's, then get the spindles. The problem I found with spindles is the backspacing with 17's. I had the H2 wheels and the backspacing was too much (5.375"). Had to shave down the lower ball joint in order to fit until I got other wheels. Now I have a 17x8 with 4.5" backspacing and they fit fine. Even have room to replace my lower ball joints.

Also if you do that much drop in the rear, a set of traction bars will probably lift the rear up some. Check your frame to bump stop distance. Might have to notch the frame so when you hit a big bump you dont hear the rear axle hit the bumpstops on the frame.

Hope this helps some. :beer

T-bars all the way down, Cognito braces, Ground Force drop shackles, spring clamps, Rancho 9000xl shocks, Toyo Proxes ST1

If the track prep is good that setup will cut mid 1.6s
