I don't know too much about truck stereo's.... but here's what I have.

Each door has a 100 watt Clarion speaker..

With this Amp...

and a Pioneer double din/navi

The previous owner removed the subs and sub box when he put the twins on because the 2nd, and 3rd batteries are behind the back seats on passenger side. I would like to put a single 10" or 12" on the drivers side behind the seat, but don't know what I would need, and if the amp I have already can be used.. There are 3 wrapped electrical cords that have been cut and taped up, (assuming amp power in, + and - to subs) but not sure what they are for... The wrapped wires are not coming from the installed amp from what I can see, the amp and navi stuff is all mounted under the back seat on a box screwed to the seat frame. Very clean setup but I dont have a clue on what to do :spit: Can post some pics if it helps..

The wires are probably power, remote wire to turn on amp, and then other from your radio to the subs. Idk that's how mine is.

if you can post pics, it sounds like the other wires are for the other amp to run the sub previous owner had. as of now your current amp is powering all 4 speakers id assume. so you will need another amp to run sub

Thats really really small for power or grounds....more than likely one is the remote wire.

I usually run 4 gauge for power and ground, but it all depends on the amp output.

Was thinking a single 10" Boston G1, but im open to any insight. Had 2 10's (boston G1's) in my LBZ and never had a problem.

That amp doesn't have a mono channel for a sub Brian....

Is the Clarion box just an audio processor or what? Got a model number for it?

so what im going to go with is you will need another amp. probably mono, i went with a small 500 watt and a 12" slim fit in my rc. all the bass i ever need. if not too much. mine is kicker sub and amp. i know cheap but it was on a budget
