C'mon Verlon. It's my first time doing this. Cut a guy some slack! Besides, I know how long some of the professionals take to fab a custom set of twins... :poke:
Josh is the hood a functional one or something, I see a cutout looking thing in it.
It's an aftermarket cowl hood that has some sort of air intake thing built into it.

Well ,what's the outcome from today?

I didn't get a whole lot done, but I got the intake and down pipe finished.

Looks good and like the additional support

I wanted to make sure it would hold up this heavy turbo. I used 3 points of attachment for the brace. There is the spot on the block in front of the motor mount, the brace that runs to the accessory mount that you can see in the 4th picture, and a tube that runs over to the bracket the factory fuel filter used to bolt to can be seen in a few of the pictures. I used 1 1/4" 11 gauge square tubing and 1/2" x 1 1/2" strap for the center mount flange and the bracket for the fuel filter brace. The brace that runs to the accessory mount is 1/4" x 1" strap. It is really solid.
