Spinoff: does the FICM need to be cooled, or can it be bypassed?

The more things you add, the more things to break ;) Has anybody else determined what the temp of the fuel going in was And then what it is coming out of the FICM to see how much "cooling" is actually going on?

i moved my ficm and tcm and ecm to the driver side battery location, and i have the ficm in the very front so it will get plenty of airflow, alot better than a hot valve cover atleast. i was planning on running return fuel thru it, but i am considering running it dry after reading about everyone who has done it. i am undecided yet! if i do i will post back and let everyone know because it is a daily driver. but this probably wont be till about march (ok not a daily driver, i drive it 9 months out of the year lol)

I have relocated my FICM to the top of my fan shroud by building a custom aluminum bracket that bolts straight over the factory shroud using the factory mounting screws. I didn't even have to hack up my wire harness to do this. I have been running it dry with no problems but I was thinking of tapping into the window washer bottle and circulating washer fluid thru it. I thought of adding a reservior for this but space is so limited under the hood I would rather just use the washer bottle for the cooling. LMK what you think.

I have thought of that myself but im not using the factory pump. I would be using an inline type low volume pump. There somewhat cheap I guess I could try it and see how long it last. I have been searching for some kind of small mechanical driven pump. I just haven't seen what im looking for yet.
