Wow :thumb: Just stumbled across this. I have been thinking of something similar with mine. It wasn't wrecked, but I didn't take very good care of it either. How many hours would you say you have into the cab swap? Thanks.

Quick rundown, longblock built by Wagler, with fingers .020 cast pistons with valve reliefs, socal 6480 af cam, Wagler ported stock heads, and hamilton springs, carillo rods, merchant push rods, Socal balancer and flywheel, 100% over lly injectors, PPE dual fuelers, billet S366 T-4 charger(for now). I sold/traded the original built trans, for a stock 03, I built it with a MA 1000 kit, which consists of billet input and output shafts, raybestos clutches, and the other items associated with building a trans. I also added a billet C2 hub, and sent my P2 to suncoast to be made billet also. Goerend converter, fleece trans cooler lines, dual fan setrab cooler for a fuel cooler, still rocking the fass titanium 150 for now. Did away with all the factory fuel lines and ran all an/push lock hose, replaced my worn out leaf springs, with springs from a dually, removed the 2 overloads, and replaced bushings, added HSP traction bars, replaced all the brake lines with stainless lines(hard lines and flex lines). This truck will be a Heinz 57 model when I am done, started life as an 01, now has a mix and match parts from 01-06:D and will truly be an lly and 03+ truck as far as interior and electronics are considered. There are some more little details that I wont bore you all with now.

Riley, show us pic of that Fuel cooler set up, kind of hard to see from the one pic. what part # cooler was it.? thanks

Sprayed the bottom of the cab tonight. Plan to set the cab on tomorrow, and if all goes well fire it off by the end of the weekend hopefully. If it goes well, going to try and get it to the body shop next weekend:thumb:. Also received some tuning from Broviak today:woott:

Its really hard to say as far as the swap, I have done to much in between to guess how many hours in the swap. If it were truly just a cab swap, with no other work involved, and a lift and some other equipment were available, and you were mechanically inclined, I dont see why it couldnt be done in a solid weekend. Possibly a day depending on your abilities and assistance from others.

Hooked everything up, no crank, service 4wd, have some issues to iron out, and double check wiring. Got the dash put back together also other than trim pieces, which will stay off until I get it back from the body shop

Current state, hope to get it running tomorrow, the used ubec I bought from a member here was bad, and was causing my electrical issues. Still have an air bag light, service 4wd, and steering wheel controls are inop

Riley, what is the manufacturer and part # on the cooler and fan set up.
That's a nice combo.
