I have an Aurora 3000, and was thinking on replacing my S366 with it and then put a S475 on top of the 3000 instead of a S480 on top of the S366.
ATS AURORA 3000 flows 65 LBS/mins vs S366 flowing 78 LBS/Mins
S475 flows 98 LBS/min vs S480 flowing 120 LBS/mins
Will this work was a baby set of 66/80 twins?

Why dont you leave the 366 and put the 475 off to the side of it? I would think that would be an awesome quick spooling combo. You limited by the size of your smallest turbo.......leave the 66 in there.

I would think that would depend on what's most important to you... Better drive ability/quicker spool or HP potential. You already know which setup will provide more HP but I get the feeling that the spool may be more important to you?

I was think about it, it would be interesting to see how it spools, but this way I could have a kit to sell if or when I rebuild the next engine

I want better driving ability, less smoke and quicker spooling, i feel that i can wreck my engine with this set up.....so HP potential is not in consideration, but I would make the piping so I could throw the 66/80 or 83 combo on.
Sounds like it would be a really responsive, smoke-free truck. Which could be a lot of fun.

I've always thought about doing a set of abnormally small twins or triples. With tuning I could see throttle response almost comparable to a gasser. Then throw that in a single cab short bed and dominate the drift scene with a diesel truck ha

Let us know how it goes!!

I think the A3K/75 combo would be a lot of fun on the street. Would be cool to do something different as well. Like Dustin said, keep us posted on what you decide.:thumb:

Will do. It will not be until this winter, because we are getting busy at work, but I am going to start getting parts. I going to try both setups, along with some custom inter-cooler stuff, up pipes and ported stock manifolds.

Hell, give it a shot. We never know how something is really going to work until someone actually tries it.

the only thing i see that would hinder it is a TC with higher then a 2000 stall a low stall ~1500 witha 3k/5k or similar setup really come alive, allowing you to load the engine very well..
one of the things i dont like about my LMM i have seen 2600rpm just to get a heavy load moving on part throttle :(
love to get a 1500 stall in the LMM that setup worked VERY nice when i had a 1500 stall in my 99

I think my tc is a lower stall, I push through the brakes trying to spool my turbo now, it is one reason i want more turbos.

on my 99 with the OEM stock tc i could build 20psi around 1800 before it would over pull through the 14" rotors on the back of the truck.. havent played much with the 2000 stall thats in it now

the BW 72 or 75/96s are great for the price but the 96tw 1.32 housings are bigger than you need for a stock turbo or small frame secondary
Ive been tempted to try a 475 with a 92tw & 1.10 t6 housing from forced inductions, Jose says minimal loss on the top end but much quicker spool
