I know LB7/LLY blocks are the same. But what about putting LLY heads into an LMM? Possible? Impossible? Or am I stupid?

It would work fine. I have a friend who used an LMM block with LB7 heads, timing cover, fuel system etc.

I know the timing cover and reluctor wheel have to be changed, but maybe some could chime in if there is anything else ? Like does the rear adapter plate bolt up or do you have to switch the lly 1?

Ok. Well thanks for clearing that up for me guys.

One more question... Would there have to be any changes done to get the LLY heads on the LMM? Like the relict or wheel, timing cover etc. or can I just bolt it up and go?

Ok I got the details on the block.
The block is an 09 LMM that a set of 05 LLY SoCal stage one heads would be bolted onto.
This would all be put into an 05 GMC Sierra.

Ok so than you will have to change the reluctor wheel and the front cover to the 05 parts. And you will have to change the oil cooler adapter to remove the EGR cooler hose fitting.
