Truck= 2003 silverado 2500hd 4wd torsjon cranked up.

I need new shock absorbers.

No lift, only torsjon cranked up a little. Still have 2,5" og wheel travel out.

Locking for best ride quality.
What is the best out there? Any recomandation?

The OP said he is looking for good ride quality :poke:

I had billsteins and when I switched to rancho I was blown away how much smoother the ride was :thumb:

I have a new 2016 Chevy 2500 Duramax, switched out those factory hard jerking Rancho shocks with Bilstein 5100 and definitely made a positive difference.

If their like the Ranchos that came on the ford's with the fx4 package they are a cheap low grade shock below the 5000 series

I tried the silver 5100s years ago when I cranked the bars up, didn't care for the stiff ride
Changed to Rancho 9000s & it rode better even the bars cranked

I ran a set of fox shocks from norcal truck and they definitely rode a bit "firmer" than my buddy's bilstiens but I preferred the ride. It felt more confident. I have no experience with the ranchos.

All factory shocks are garbage, they are a lower quality than the aftermarket brand. So please don't base your opinion on factory shocks.
