Your trucks will not go any slower with defuel as the tie up during a shift with no defuel doesn't shift any quicker than a shift with defuel. It just feels quicker. The firmer shift with no defuel is the rear tires locking up for a millisecond during the hand off to the oncoming clutch.

I would like to think that my built trans is one of the higher "never been refreshed" units out there....I have almost 200k on my trans since I built it. No I dont race anymore, but back in the day I put probably 300+ 1/4 mile passes on it with big single, twins, etc...

Its still shifting like new. Of course I attribute that to leaving defuel ON :D

Do you think when I rebuild the trans should I put billet inpu/output/ and c2, p2? Or should I just do c2 and p2?

not unless you plan to be over 800hp soon. With your mods, stock is fine. Theoretically, there shouldn't be too much collateral damage due to the C2 hub shattering. But you know murphy's law....

Well everyone here knows how it goes... I was fine with stock.. Then I put a 68mm turbo, 100 overs, and twin cp3s in lol... So I'm sure Ill blow my motor and twin it... But I'm not sure how much over 800 hp will be and hopefully thats at least a year from now.. Also has anyone ever heard of MTS Diesel? They have Billet input, output and C2 hub for a really reasonable price.

So trans is fully built now, it's had about 470 miles on it and it still shifts funny is this normal? Hangs up on some down shifts and full throttle up shifts. The TQ slams in like big time... When should this atop

It acts like it doesn't know what gear to go into under throttle, and the converter is very harsh when it locks in

hmmm something may be wrong. Ive never had a trans take longer than 75 miles or so to learn to the point where the shifts are crisp and perfect...
