Shelled built tranny

Okay so I shelled the p2 planetary gear in my built tranny tonight, at least I think that's what it was.. Anyways what billet stuff can I buy to make this thing hold up? It's been built a year and already went out. I don't want to deal with this again, if anyone has a website or wants to pm me prices for the stuff that'd be great.

Why don't you pull the trans apart and make that decision after you see what went wrong?

C2 hub i think and isnt the drum assembly from a 6 speed alot stronger,the bering is bigger and will hold up better iirc,you could get billet input and output or cryo them.Get those c3 direct oiling plates also got mine on and from the deep pan and the direct oilers my trans stays very cool

Sounds like it wasn't built right. With the mods in your signature you should not have issues with an average built trans done right...

It's tuned by duramax tuner has TCM tuning, just had 100% twin cp3 and a 68mm cheetah put on lastnight. It's got the alto clutch pack kit, valve body mods, trans go, and a precision ML converter. It was 1-2,2-3,3- BOOM. Sounds like a can of marbles in park, won't come out of limp mode and is stuck in 3rd.

The defuel was deffinatly modified, it went from hardly any to kind of aggressive defuel in my oppinion. And I did not build the trans so I cannot give specs on it, just what is on my invoice from the shop, it has the alto powerpack c1,c2,c3,c4 in it. My one year warranty was up 4 days ago, and how do I check D5196/D5197

In version 7.5 of efi if you have that version of nicks tunes, in the TCM tune.

I did ECM and TCM swap when trans was built a year ago, then when the new parts got out on we put a updated ECM in it

Would highly doubt it. He sent my buddy an ecm that was locked up and wouldnt start his truck. They played the blain game for a month till they finally sent him another ecm. They had the "bad" ecm for 3 of those 4 weeks
