Again really?!? You might look into a kryptonite setup then joe. It will take some stress off the pitman arm

I was wondering that same thing. Do you guys breaking pitmans with braces commonly run in 4x4 while turning tightly?

My steering is just as easy at full lock with my tbars all the way down and i have congito braces. I never turn in 4wd though other than really lightly if it's snowy out. Never had an issue.

I've seen far too many broken pitmans reported and just about every damn one just happens to have Cognito braces. Coincidence? I don't think so. ..

Yeah if I had some time I would like to do some testing. They all have sheared the same way for me.

We had a thread about it a few weeks ago. This has been discussed elsewhere too. It seems you're fine with new parts and the braces but when the pitman and/or idler arms wear then they break.

a quick search and you'll find a lot of cases where guys running cognitos shear the pitman arms with no warning. Seems to be a trend.
