To each there own gents. I’m not saying it’s a setup I would purchase. But I do like it. And I doubt it rides terrible. Everyone told me 33s on 22s would be horrible. But IMO it rode better than 285s and 17s. I’m ready for the hate, but hey at least it’s not got the Carolina squat.

For me it's not necessarily the low profile tires on large rims. It the fact that they are stretched and sticking 6 or so inches outside the fenders. The turning radius has got to be horrible. Parking in a lot, not likely. Curb rash, coming soon

Anyone else noticed the placement of the shocks on the rear axle? Also looks like the stock ones are still there too

nailed it. terrible scrub on the tires when turning, bump steer probably feels great, and those front shocks are in a nice falling rate motion as well. should work well :roflmao::roflmao:

Oh hell, that truck is well put together compared to these two knuckleheads who run a "diesel shop" near me. Their trucks are lifted even higher than that, same stretched tires, cali lean, then add in underglow lights and large led lights all over the front end. I tried to talk to them at last year's westphalia car show, but I guess they were "too good" to. Completely ignored me.
Oh well, they'll never be within 4 seconds of my old truck anyways.

Check this out. This is what we deal with in the 'rust belt'. This is a 2014 Ram 2500, 51,000 miles. One owner truck, really nice shape. You can tell it was not garage kept, which is fine. But I always say I'd rather have a high mileage truck over one that sat around for a while. This is one of the reasons.

It has all original brakes and rotors on it. These are the rears. Its obvious by the hammer marks that someone tried to remove the one rotor but must've not been successful. Thing about that is the rust ring on inner part of rotor hangs up on park brake shoes and wrinkles the backer plate all up.

So they quit trying and just hammered a new set of brakes into the rusted up caliper brackets and reinstalled. Which will not budge because the areas where the brake pad rides are swelled with rust.

Buddy of mine threw a rod at 70k on his F150 Ecoboost towing about 7k. That was about 5k miles after the dealer replaced passenger side manifold and turbo.

Funny. My eco had 300k on the factory engine. Drove and ran amazing. No trans rebuild either. I have a thread about it here somewhere. Looking back I was just bitter about getting rid of my lb7. Shoulda kept the truck. It was nice.

Y’all ever have one of those moments where you just say f*ck me I’m done? Started the truck this morning to go to work and noticed I had no dash lights. No screens on the radio or ac either. Nothing. I thought huh maybe it’s just cold or something so I let it warm up still nothing. So I text my boss and said I have truck issues I’ll be in late. Took every damn fuse out and checked it. Took battery cables off and let it sit to reset. Still nothing. 30 minutes later I’m sitting at the kitchen table googling it and come across a thread here where someone mentions the dimmer. Then it struck me. I cleaned the truck yesterday. Sure enough. Lights were off with the dimmer. I was pissed. I pulled a head off an lbz this weekend and I can’t figure out a fuggin dimmer switch.

I did almost the same thing with a haul truck at work a few months ago. There’s two different dimmer switches and two different dashes. The one dimmer switch only does like 4 of the 30 idiot lights for reasons nobody understands (which I forgot) and spent 2 hrs metering shit before I remembered.

At least I got paid to be dumb though lol.
