The easiest way to be sure you are in second is to give it a little throttle while you are rolling up to stage; once you hear and feel the clunk hold that slight throttle and use the brake to pull the rest of the way to staging, that way it doesn't go back in 1st.
It will also clunk every time you stop and go getting to the lanes. If for some reason Pat doesn't flash it before I leave the track. The kids are like Mom will you get Dad to flash your truck
You can also only delete 1st from T/H mode, then when you are in normal mode you have 1st back and there's no clunking in and out of 2nd. As long as you aren't towing heavy you can daily drive on the tune as well.

You can write a tune where T/H and normal mode are identical except for the deletion of 1st gear then and still accomplish the same thing. Of you could delete 1st from normal mode only. I figured you would end up bringing that up.:hug:
