I have an lbz with a 72 Danville / billet wheel s483. I am wanting to upgrade the s483 and have some questions. Bullseye offers a tct s483 and engineered diesel has a s484. Which would make more power? Could someone tell me the difference in these two bullseye chargers:

Would upgrading to one of these be any more beneficial then using a bullseye wheel and rebuilding my current turbo?

what do those 85mm flow?

Made just over 1500hp on Hailey's engine dyno on the mule engine...(wet block deck plated 6.7 I believe). As a 1.32 a/r t6 single turbo. Only s400's I've heard making over 1400hp flywheel "in real life" are s488's with the 88mm Garrett wheel on gassers...

I'm not sure what you power goals are but my truck has a Danville 72R and a bullseye tct S483 and it has gone 10.5 at 132.6 weighing just shy of 7000lbs. The setup is incredibly smooth and straight hammers. That being said I have never run any other atmospheric charger so I don;t have much to compare it to.

I picked up a brand new ED billet s484 off of here for 1975 shipped. It would be cheaper on my opinion to sell your atmo and buy what you want. Wheel, cover and machine work will cost more than half of what a new turbo would run. Just buy what you want and sell yours to recoup some of the expense.

Yea talking with Mark at Danville that sounds like it might be the way to go.

Maybe I missed it but what are the specs on your engine? Trying to wrap my head around how a 72/83 isn't enough:D

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to piss in anyone's cheerios. It takes a lot of motor and fuel to need more haha

Haha it's a built motor with 100% exergys and dual fuelers. The current setup runs well, the current 483 is just an older turbo so I thought maybe it would be beneficial to upgrade a little bit
