Ya haha I know, some of the bends needed to be tighter than what mandrel bends could provide. Also it's kind of my style, and it happens to be cheaper to make the bends this way, 30$ a bend adds up quickly and even more $ for 5", inside of the pie cut bends are surprisingly smooth too

There we go that shows everything perfectly. Thanks guys just what I needed. So when I see people tapping into the oil pan that would be the primary turb drain? Where are you guys getting oil fed from?

i like it! just clear coat it and done! most guys fear is if a little weld ball or slag is left behind from all that welding and it goes through the turbo/s or motor.

I guess you could have the inside sand blasted if the tubes aren't too terribly long

Ya, the customer decided to get them blasted and coated and the downpipe wrapped, I've never had an issue with slag or what not on the inside with my welding, but I could definitely see that causing a problem if there was

No mass air sensor?

Good eye.
We have come to two options 1) delete it with tuning, which I have no idea if that should or can be done or 2) use the rubber shoulder in the air filter, cut a hole and mount it there.

Any suggestions? Customer originally tried to put it in the interstage pipe which he told me didn't work out so well.

I built only the piping in this kit, the mounting brackets and positioning of every thing already existed from the customer, I essentially "freshened up" the kit , it originally had some minor cosmetic issues with the piping and was corroded so I rebuilt all of them

Use a smaller air filter, put a 90* on the primary and mount the MAF on the 90*. The air filter will be down behind the headlights. An AFe cone style will fit.

It can be deleted with tuning rather easily. I kind of prefer a maf deleted tune myself.

How does maf delete work. With mine unplugged it runs like s**t!

I forget the table number, but on the maf voltage to flow table you just max the whole table out to. Tricks the ecm into thinking that the maf is seeing full air flow all the time. It is not the best for mileage.

In that case, it's time to find a new welder:D

Old thread here but gues I'll just use it anyway.. Good info here but me and my brother have been wondering something on these S400s over stock setups, does the extra pressure and air going through the stocker affect the reliability with it? Like on a lml stocker, can you run 55 lbs through it and not worry about it saying that's to much?

It's all due in part to pressure ratios. Your stocker winds up going under a new atmosphere as soon as it sees pressure from the larger charger. That changes a lot of things as for what the sticker can take
