Oh ok, I thought you had the ranch. I've talked with Russell and he mentioned you. I'm shocked you like yours at 5300 ft as when I had my billet 366 I hated it here at 5300ft. And grew tired of the manual shifting an allison due to smoke. Was most likely my tuning but we will save that train for another wreck

Yes sir talk to Russell quite often! Yes I'm blown away how well it performs. At 5300 ft in Alb, or 4600ft at the ranch I have ZERO problems with this charger with very very minimal smoke.

Yea I played the email game for 2 moths but the constant waiting a week for a small tune tweak got old. Gave up and sold it, should have let Mark tune it and I'd have been set...live and learn

Yea and being able to chat with the tuner and make tweaks faster is alot nicer. One day I'll run a fixed vane again but not on this truck

Josh IIRC Rob tuned your truck? I'm suprised it ate itself so fast.

If your really pushing your truck that hard maybe you should stop and think what your going do when you put a window in your block. Just my opinion, but your going down a bad road chasing power you don't have the mods to support.

Kory tuned it. I know what's going to happen when I blow it lol. When I heard that pop today and couldn't even see out my mirror there was so much smoke I figured I blew it up.

The turbo blew on spool up, it didn't even hit 20lbs when she went. Shit the tires weren't even broke loose yet. At this point I'm thinking 369 sxe

Almost got me steering away from modding my lly turbo now, jeezum.

You think there was a reason for failure? Guys claim you can push a modded lly turbo like yours to 650hp from I heave researched. I wouldn't imagine you were pushing the charger do you?

You can make a lot of power with a turbo if you only do it occasionally. I ate a couple S371 center sections at around 700-750 HP. Turned it down to 660 HP and it lives now.

If you tow heavy or spend a lot of time WOT, you can't push your turbo that hard. Or maybe Josh and I are just unlucky?

If I was in his situation, I'd do a S472sxe. With a trans tune and the right torque converter, it will tow great. I tow with my S371 and have no problems. When it blows up next time, I'm switching to a 472.

This turbo would peg my factory boost gauge at 38psi.. little guy was a great turbo. I ran it hard forsure.

Isn't those sxe turbos supposed to spool a lot faster? If I go 472sxe what turbine and housing would you suggest on that?

87mm turbine .90 housing. Mine did OK towing just needs rpms. I think it will be pretty laggy until you get injectors

I'm running the 467.7/83/90 fmw. So far I like it. It's pretty smokey just driving around to me. Haven't towed over 6000lbs yet, it towed good under 50mph and above 65mph.

Curious if his 1058 is going to be loose enough for a 467 ish size charger. It would do well with the 369sxe though

My 1058 was plenty plenty loose for my 468, but that was also on an lml so not sure if I woulda had more fuel or not then an lmm..

I didn't like it and wished I'd had something tighter but it worked fine and most people would have liked it probably..

I have a 472 sxe with a tcm tune to help stay on top of the charger and I love it. Haven't towed with it cause I deleted the towing package, and I don't daily It. Once it lights it out a you in your seat that's for sure. The 69sxe is a charger as well. Buddy of mine has it in his truck and loves it.

Think im going 369 sxe. What housing would you guys reccomend? .90 or 1.0

69/74 .91 is what I run and love it.
Stock fuel system will limit you to a legit 625-650ish depending on how healthy it is of course. 60-100% nozzles would really help wake up that charger plus your pistons will thank you.
