The 5533 is a 91/133mm inducer with a 111 turbine. Can also be had with a 94/133mm inducer. The 480 is an 80mm inducer with a 96/87mm turbine. The 55 is a bad motha!

x2... not to mention big Garrett's flow way more when compared to a similar sized Borg Warner

As for the S366, I don't have that info off hand. All I know is that this combo is supposed to be kick ass. Wish I didn't have a REAL day job so I could get this all built faster. All the parts from the machine shop should be back Friday and then it all goes back together starting Monday! Can't wait!

Nick

I tuned that similar combination in April on a 2002 LB7, that combo ran very well and I just tuned a NC truck with a S366/GT4718 IIRC and that too ran very well. It was a S366 66/73 with a stainless housing.
I would have to find out from one of my other Canadian LLY trucks running Socal 100% sticks with a big set of twins what his actually are, but his was a daily driver street driven truck for that past 2 years or so and he made it into a dedicated puller now.

Thanks, I will see how everything goes. Now I have to sell my GT4094R.

Why not twin the 4094 ?

Could have but I know that the 366/480 is a good combo so felt I would go this route.

I have a truck in MA that runs a set of twins with a 4094/4718 IIRC or the bigger charger could be even bigger I would have to check and see and there is onebadmax in NH which runs a 4294/GTXX55, again I would have to check on the exact charger specs.

There are many, many combination's that will work depending on your needs.

Good Luck

:D

you will like that kit , was just saying if you havent done it yet the 4094 would work well .
No problem....the install is going ok but having problems with the hotpipe against the firewall. I know there have been pics sent to Nathan but looks like the pipe may be a little off. Has anyone else had problems with the MPI hotpipe fitment?

I also have the SoCal Built engine from Guy. I know that ARP 2000 studs were installed with the Stage 1 heads. I am not going to race the truck but will have the power tune for #5. Is there a concern with these studs? I have been told they will handle 50 PSI boost with no problem. Is it necessary to go to the 625's? Just want some feedback from some experienced guys on this.

I'm going with the standard set of ARP headstuds on mine since I already have them. I will only race a few times a week at the local track but it'll be used mainly for hauling ass on the road:D

As for Nathans kit I don't usually hear about fitment problems. In the unlikely case you do have a problem I'm certain he'll take care of you

Ya, I know Nathan has a good product and good rep. Just waiting for an answer back from him. DJ is doing the install and is very knowledgable, honest and knows what he is a doing. I would mention the company but I do not believe he is a supporting vendor here.

Stock head bolts will handle 50psi of boost, your head studs should be fine, your cylinder pressure and drive pressure should be reasonable with your setup. Especially with those heads.:thumb::D

mine 2000's were fine at 70-75 lbs boost. They didn't like 95 though. I have 625's now

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, Ken. I'm sure the heads are going to help me out:thumb:

Thanks, it is DJ from DK diesel in Bellingham. Great guy with good references. Also good to know I should be good at around 75 PSI. I do not know what the max psi on this MPI setup would be. Maybe someone could chime in on that.

Beauty is you can gate it to about what you want. Fueling has a lot to do with max boost as well. Remember the drive pressure or back pressure is as important or more important than the boost. Good flowing heads help a ton. Ever wonder why when the cummins guys talk about having 100psi of boost on a sit of twins, (compounds) that will only make say 60 to 70 on a dmax? Much better flowing heads. :thumb:

Thanks Subman....good to know. I can't wait to get it on the road. Should be at the end of the week if Nathan can straighten out this hot pipe fitment issue. DJ was saying I have lots of fuel so with the extra airflow and custom EFI tuning it should be good to go.
If anyone is interested in a near new 4094 plus kit and T4 with waste gate port, I have it for sale.
