I have a roll pan I want to get installed but can't figure out what hitch I should go with. I do a lot of towing (own a landscaping company) and need a hitch. Want something strong but want it to look good also. Would the reese titan work or would it be better to go with bigchevyhitch.com line up? I'm also planning on sled pullin. Any pics would be great. Thanks again.

Thanks for the link josh. Found a few threads but that one helped. I like those bigchevyhitches. Fit real close to the roll pan, are they all the same? Or do u have to specify what roll pan u have. I could make my own I guess, just wanna make sure it holds up to sled pullin and daily use.

I have no idea on the bigchevyhitch. I've used mine a few times for pulling trailers and sled pulling for the first time today. No sign of movement. I used 4x4 3/16 wall square tube and 3x5x1/4 angle for my hitch. The receiver tube was a universal piece I bought from the local hardware store. I welded nuts to the angle iron and slid it inside the frame so it tries to pull the angle iron through the frame rather than just trying to pull the bolt heads through it. The only thing I had to do that was a bit of a pain was remove the spare tire cross member.

Your hitch sounds smart and strong. I will my dumb phone would bring all your pics up. Only got the last one. First 2 nothin. I think I may look into more what u did. Ill take my bumper off and look what all I need to do with my roll pan. I really like the angle iron pull thru the frame idea more then the bolt heads. Thanks again

Do all the big chevy hitches come thru the license plate? Or just on request? I'd rather not pull the plate or flip it up everytime I wanna use it.

As said before you can have him make it however you want. I have mine below my roll pan.

Yeah it definitely looks cleaner behind. But I always am pullin something. Mainly bobcat trailers. To/ from job everyday. I also have a 5in exhaust w/ 6in tip that I'm worried will look dumb as hell now with the bigger bumper gone. Hope it looks alright.

I had a 5" exhaust without a tip, and I thought it looked dumb after the roll pan. That's why I cut the exhaust off right at the last hanger after it dumps over the axle. Your opinion may differ from mine though.

Are your roll pans welded on or bolted was looking into getting one couldnt find one I like besides a welded on roll pan with the plate to the passenger side instead of the center..
