Got the lockup box issues all figured out... my fault, I didnt grab power from the BCM... thought the BCM was somewhere else from where I actually hooked the power to :rolleyes::rofl: :eek:


Lockup box works flawlessly.... but... Truck still hangs at 3600 rpm+, lockup box had zero effect to my problem. James and I logged the trans to see what was going on. We tried both auto and force lockup with no change..

At a standstill as of currently.. I am running a 2000Us tune on 20% overs.. maybe 500rwhp.




figuring out how to zip the logs... :confused:

I can feel the converter lock on WOT in auto mode, but it seems like with or without Ben's box, it still hangs the shift.

The only issue that I can see in the log is the current gear vs commanded gear...

Current gear will say 3rd, commanded says 4th while the truck is hanging the shift. To me it seems like the trans is a gear behind what the TCM is asking... but just a thought. May be way off on that one, just what James and I saw... :(

Can you show a log of the pcm.? I would like to see mph and RPM and Throttle poss and fuel rate is possible.

this work? Dotted line is where the shift hangs. For some reason the log wants to show the PID's that I just used for the trans? Never used to show them..

i tired to log RPM at the same time but you cant. id have to do a back to back run and switch from monitoring TCM to ECM.

I changed them so we could see how everything looked on the graph. The pids in the graph were not selected so their data line did not show up.



this truely is weird driving in this truck. I find it odd that in auto mode on bens lock up, lock up wont come till the top of 2nd some times or the top of 3rd from a stop. And it hangs shifts. then if i force lock half way through second as brians does another dig run, you feel the converter hit, then it still hangs right at 3600. Unfortunatly i have no log of me doing that as we were pushing alot of different buttons and shit last night and we didnt have the computer out yet.

what ever the case may be, bens box works like its suppose to and only eliminated another possiblity.

You have a control problem. I don't see a hanging shift being caused internaly. Call me anyways.

i told him the same last night.



brian, we need to try swapping TCMs and such with my truck and see what happens. come back over friday and lets see what we can find. i gotta do a compression test and drop my fuel tank then too.
