The turbos that He's thinking about using would be able to be plumbed with 3" exhaust though.

We use Jason's (WC fab) remote mount. Jason starts with Rick's log style 2.25" wagler matched headers and puts his 6 bolt flanges on them. Works flawless, no leaks. Been on and off the engine a bunch now with no problems

you are talking about true twins vs compounds. you will run into issues with the driver side downpipe routing if you put it on that side. I know a few people have started similar projects but I don't know of any that were finished.

I'm thinking about a full engine bay shave, relocate all the electronics and everything but the hardware and plumbing gets removed from the engine bay and relocated.

Under the drink holder in the center console would be a nice area for the ECM/TCM and fuse box, the batteries can get strapped TONTHE frame behind each rear wheel (in a box of course) and the coolant tank can go in a truck box with the nitrous, fuel cell where the spare went...etc

I want to see two turbo's with the filters right behind the headlights cones pointed down, a cool lookin intake and some wicked polished plumbing when I open the hood

They are referred to as "Parallel twins". I thought I read before that they are a tuning nightmare.
The tuning thing I wasn't sure about cuz you'd have to run 2 MAF's or run speed density? And I'm not sure EFI converts to speed density or if its possible with the Dmax ECM?

I was even thinkin I could run 2.75" if I had to, then dump both into 5"

The down pipe coming off the driver's side could even go up and over the valley with Waglers cast intake

Im sure It's possible with enough Norwegian man hours...which FTR is like 1:3 or 3:1...depends on which side of the block you're standing on...

Wouldn't be necessary in this application. They are geared more towards the high drive pressure and extreme heat cycles found with truck pulling. We use a factory gasket but add 3 more bolts to the flange which offers more gasket crimp between the distance from the three factory bolt holes, which is where a standard flange/gasket setup normally blows out or leaks, expessecially with 2 1/4" plumbing. Been using them on multiple high horsepower trucks for a few years now and have not blown out any gaskets since. I'll see if I can round up a picture.

Your parallel twin idea is very cool. I've considered it myself and have had only a few customers ask about building a setup of the sort, but no one following thru with the plans. Could certainly be done though. You can plumb the Chargers into one cooler and then to the intake to help even out the flow, I would be Leary to running separate coolers and feeding individual intake runners without some sort of balance pressure line.

I run speed density on my race truck with EFILive. Mark does all my tuning so it can be done.
You would have to talk with Mark more about it.

Yeah man, that's exactly what and why I was thinking to do, running both chargers into opposite end tanks and exit out the center top...probably want a custom intercooler to efficiently work with that kind of air flow? Coming in on both ends and exiting center top might not be ideal for a standard intercooler design...

Now if we could only get cranks to stop breaking...
