I stand by what I predicted. TJLance ran 12.5s in Rick's truck with about the same mods and weight reduction. Good front shocks should help.
If you get close, you can go hog wild and pull the rear seat and other misc crap to lose more weight. Have fun.

Full blown tune eh? a 3000pw and 30-32* max timing is basically it... your stock turbo doubtfully will take advantage of a 3300pw but once again you'll never know until you run it. I also would not live and die by what the dyno says. I have dynoed a best of 593hp thats with a 4094 and big modified CP3 my mph indicates im much closer to 650-675. If you run in the 105mpg range then you know you are at your 530hp mark

Paint, Id love to drive your truck once at the track.....just once. God, that'd be fun.

Nick tuned Rick's LLY and it was running consistant 12.40s before Rick and TJ went nuts on weight reduction.
I dont know enough about tuning to comment on pulsewidths in racetunes, other than what I saw in my two tunes and what Rick/TJ ran.

i am not nit picking by any means but im just saying Ricks truck also had up pipes and headers which are good for 30-40 hp if he didn't have them in a perfect world that lose of hp puts rick in the 12.7-12.8 range but obviously noone knows and all that matters is rick did run a 12.4 stock turbo which is amazing

They ran the 12.50s without the uppipes and manifolds, IIRC. .40's were with, then they went crazy. Id have to ask Rick for specifics. (I wish I would have had those manifolds/pipes for one bonzi run this past year...but then I think I probably would'a needed a new engine and a tow home).
I do think they had an LBZ inlet to start with....thats pretty much a requirement on an LLY now, isnt it?

I say let Beech go have some fun after that trans is built. My bet is he comes back with a huge :) on his face.

I believe you can do it! My numbers posted are before all the modds. At the time they were the same as yours. Good luck man. Be careful though. Is it a DD?

i was never able to do good 60ft best was a 1.7 rest were 1.8-2.+ but i was always able to trap 107 for the most part. getting the 60ft down is the biggest thing. i hope this yr i can make it out to the track a few times and try my luck with the new set up.

good luck and keep us posted.

I ran 98mph, but dyno'd at 466/880.

Your 60s are going to be what makes the difference. I'd shoot for a 13.0, especially if you don't have a lot of experience at the track with the truck. Any LLY in the 12's is more than respectable, especially at that weight. If you can get the 60s down and get some good runs in, 12.7 or so might be there.

I kinda agree with Pat I guess. The average LLY is gonna be low 13's. Mine at full street weight ran a 13.3 at 101 with a sh!t 60 with about as good an LLY tune out there.

Well I've got tons and tons of passes on this truck just with the stock trans.

So why does everyone feel the lly would be slower then an lbz/lmm truck. ? I mean yea the cp3 is a little bit weaker but shouldn't the larger compressor size help a little?
