I have had "issues" finding a good setup for my truck. 01lb7 6"CST (drop front diff) lift.
I had a double cardon driveshaft but broke it during my first 4wd launch (before the twins). This is a 1310 style joint.
After replacing the driveshaft with the stock unit, I get a vibration over 45 or so (usual symptom of higher drive angel).
Since the stock driveshaft is fine for launching w/ 650hp (motor being built soon), would there be anything wrong with re-clocking the transfer case and fabricating a new crossmember?
I have only seen one truck online that had this done, but I believe it was a SFA. I think this would work but I just want to make sure.
Thanks in advance,
-Chase
