Got all the wheel liners off, up pipe heat shields, and started truck and "batteries not charging" light came on....WTF...Great..
Postpone another day, dealer tomorrow morning for new power distribution block... See if that fixes it.

Manybe Matt will have his motor in by the time i come back.. :D:rofl:

When you hooked that alternator back up there is 2 plugs that are the same, one id for the driver side alternator and it stays down in the valley out of the way.

This was the little problem that I was having...
Power junction box
Random truck shut off's and my alternator blowing up 3 months ago.

it was grounding itself out and causing a short..
Black part in second picture is where it was making contact.

i love rick's up pipes, very easy to install and great fit. we have just removed the cooler from the valve and motor. run a 5/8 heater hose and cut out a simple plate and installed on back of the motor and valve.

Dont know if im going to run. I have a bet with MMLMM and were gunna lay the smack down when he comes her ein July. :D

Seriously though 100+ Degrees and 3000ft are not the optimal conditions

He hooked me up on the studs

Yeah the garage is still open truck wont fit It is about 4 inches too long when it is pushed all the way against the wall

Id like to thank rgullett83 for giving me the idea of getting the egr gasket and then cutting around it. That probably saved me 6 hours of time after everything was apart.

Bad news :eek:

Got all manifold to up pipe bolts off, downpipe, exhaust.
got 2 out of 3 bolts off of the drivers side up pipe to pedistal, and bam.. bolt breaks.
Im screwed, put it all back together, and gav up for the time being.
Bolt is broken clean off.
atleast it give me a good reason to take the turbo off and replace it...:(

Those bolts are aircraft grade. You'll need some good drill bits to get it out.
