I picked up a 42k mile rcsb with a 5.3 and a 6l80. I just did a denali conversion and added led tail lights and led head light bulbs and a bakflip mx4. I'm planning on a tvs2300, cam, lifters, Springs, oil pump, 100 lbs injectors, boost referenced fuel pump, and a few other odds and ends..

Thanks guys! It is my shop truck. :D

Yes, I've learned a lot from the guys at PT. Great place to learn for sure!

My Duramax is Steel Grey Metallic, I love that color, I went looking for a 16 bc it was discontinued in 17.

I added a set of ck375 22" oem wheels and 33x12.50 mt tires. About ready to start on power production...:woott:

I tried posting a picture, why is it next to impossible now, it used to be sooooo much easier...

Pic size is probably too large. Gotta resize it before you upload it, or at least thats how I understood it from Rob.

If I can find a sale this weekend I think I'm going to pick up a 1900 kit and give this stock 5.3 hell for a little bit. I've done a few small things to it and it's already quite fun so I figure I should give it a go and see what it takes to blow up the 5.3. Then step it up with a 6.2 and the 2300. That is only if I can find a sale. Anybody know of one coming up at a performance shop online?

Pulled the trigger last night and ordered a tvs1900 kit. I decided a 1900 kit would be best suited for my goals. I really just want a solid 550 rwhp out of it, which shouldn't be a problem with a 1900, small cam with a high lsa and my flex fuel LMG 5.3. I'll post some dyno numbers here in the next few weeks. I'm doing a baseline first, then dynoing again after every bolt on.:D

Chris, I'm looking for instant boost that only a roots type charger can produce. I like tire fryers. Lol. The trans is stock, my builder told me to leave it alone? Said that they can take an enormous amount of power in stock trim...

I just pressuere washed it with a hot water pressure washer, sprayed it down with degreaser washed it again, let it dry and painted it. It was at my buddies shop so I just took it back to mine for a couple days while he cleaned up the bed and painted my bumpers...

Have you been tuning the stock setup?

My buddy wants me to tune his 5.3, won't hardly spin the tires. I'm going to try playing with the cam phase tables after we get more than 4* of timing in it
