Ah ok. Yes, that's all the gaskets needed. My Danville pump came with that same gasket set, and as long as there is nothing wrong with your original housing there's no reason to replace it. Just remove it from the stock pump and reinstall it (with a new o-ring) onto the new pump. When my impeller spun it chewed up the inside of my original housing, so I bought a new one.

Heard back from Larry's this morning on the heads, they are going to replace the guides, do a valve job, and resurface the heads. Should have them back next week sometime.

I was hoping to be able to button up the bottom end this weekend but with my retarded crank seal adventures (http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62298) I think it's going to set me back a couple days. Ordered new front and rear seals last night, should be here Monday or Tuesday. I'm thinking I might be able to get the motor back in the truck next weekend, then if the turbo kit shows up on the 19th, maybe get it put in that weekend.

Nothing exciting, but this is how I'm sitting now. Waiting on parts.

Also got my two new gauges and overhead gauge pod. Painted the pod with SEM factory match rattle can.

Fuel pressure gauge will be used to monitor lift pump pressure, the boost gauge is a Hewitt dual needle gauge. One for total boost pressure, and one for drive pressure. I have a 0-60 psi gauge in the truck already that will be used for first stage boost.

Thanks guys :)

Waiting on parts, rear main seal will be here Tuesday, will be able to get that done, flywheel reinstalled, and crank pulley tightened down. Heads and head gaskets should be here by the end of the week also. Still keeping my fingers crossed that I can get the motor back together during the week, and put back in the truck over the weekend.

In the meantime, been cleaning parts. I love this Harbor Freight parts washer, totally worth the $100! The engine was nasty when I pulled it, loving having clean parts when it goes back together.

They are great, really quiet and I like that I didn't have to cut my filler neck to install them. They are so quiet that I'm putting a pressure gauge in so I can make sure they are working, lol. Changed a filter and primed with the little button on the harness, was really simple. Beats pumping the plunger. Would buy again.
