I am thinking this weekend I am going to instead of having the pin just barly touching the top leaf actually put some preload on it and see how it rides and handles
i clamped just the front of the leaf pack, do u clamp both? The trick is to not make them so tight that when the rear squats down as you leave the line it loads and then stays loaded.
I have found that clamping the springs helps also.
you could probably clamp just the pack together also,
but if your running caltracs I don't think I would clamp my springs. because they are actually using some flex to perform their job, seems counter productive to me
for drag racing cal tracs seem to be great.
pulling the long bars seem to do the best.
What 60 ft times did you get today?
I hate Caltracs on the street. Spring clamps only for me on the street
Noise and ride. If I preloaded them enough to be half ass quiet, they ride like a log wagon.
