i'm going to be building my own transmission.

I already got c1-c4 alto power packs & transgo.

I'll be ordering a suncoast or precision converter in the near future.

I'm looking to do the pump shim mod that comes with all of the major kits.

I was told to use a 135 thousandths thick washer, but the diameter wasnt mentioned. Can anyone give me input here. And also any other advice.

Thank

.135 is correct thickness. The spacers are custom made and don't match anything that I'm aware of.

Hey, I have quite the same setup with alto c1-c4 and transgo shiftkit. I also installed the hot rod converter back flow valve from transgo and a 1057 as well as a deep pan. My question is where do you shim the pump and for what reason

The shim is installed at the top of the pressure regulator spring to increase main line pressure from 245 psi to a more desirable 275 psi. Much better holding power for the clutches.

pump shim to up line pressure from 245 to 275psi

and either a precision or suncoast converter. (purple isnt my color)
