I have pulled several times at our local fair with good success with my old 01 550 hp truck. I have bought another truck that should b in the 800 hp range. I pulled in 4 lo 3rd gear before, Should I pull in 4 lo 4th gear with the hp I have now? We can't have hanging weight street legal trucks. Any other mods I should do? Any input would be great as I Know very little about pulling.

with that hp 4th would be worth a try.. 2nd gear start as well should work good with the twins. but is a lil hard on the converter if you sit to long.

:thumb: I did that from one of your other post. now will that only work with the gear selector in D since I still run third and is this possible for a lmm do you know.

What gears do you have? If you have the stock 3.73s I don't think you'll be able to hang 4th gear efficiently.
