you need more videos of that 80's gm with the duramax in itI pulled workstock here once during the fall with no weights, or blocks I did use traction bars and I clamped the front of the leaf springs and I hooked fine. and you will have to overlook the minor delay at about the 50ft mark I put on a new fuel filter and I think I had a little air in the fuel lines

if you do run them mud tires run higher air press in them, because it will let them spin, not bite as hard!!
So if i run low pressure in the mud tires they will grip to much?

I think the sts's are a more popular pulling tire, Good luck finding a set, I have been on the hunt for damn near a year now and have spoke with the factory and as of right now they are not being made due to the economy I was told.

If the track is tight, and you have a lot of tire, it bogs hard on the shifts. This can often be combated by moving your shift points way the heck up and staying out of T/H mode.
its all in the set up i pulled against guys with a5k's and built this and built that made 100-150 more hp more than me...i regularly handed them their behindsI always seem to find myself getting smoked buy trucks with 75-100hp less then mine.
