Do I want to know how you tried to install it? Sorry you've got to spend more money. That shoestring is getting kinda frayed.....

I had a brilliant idea to install it and it turned out to be one of my more ignorant ideas. That seal seemed easy to install but it looks like I beat it on with a rock

Progress report: i bit the bullet and ordered the seal driver tool set from merchant. (Ouch). On a positive note i would like to say thanks to hipp11b for hooking me up with a great looking rear engine cover. $0.00 is one hell of a price. Yesterday i was able to install lifters and head on p/s. That 125 lb/ft on those studs gets tiring lol. TODAY i was able to install turbo, clean the injector cups (12ga bore mop and a drill), cp3, and y bridge....PS: F#$@ you y- bridge, you are a pain in my a$$. Dont know why its was so hard to install. Oh and i also had the privledge of pulling the front cover off and throwing away a $30 seal.

Know it's already been covered. But I've bolted a hg to check valve clearance etc then pulled it off and reused. I didn't use the copper spray on the mls. No issues, running truck very hard. but do on other gasket materials
