In class I can drive with that, compounds would probably be allowed. Class is called Super Pro ET, an it is index class with 7.0-11.99 second times.
I believe this is not competitive combination against naturally aspirated fuel cars that can drive their indexes very close, but at least I can get some official race passes with this and drive my own records.
If all goes well, maybe later we can get some rule changes so I can go to drive other, non index classes.

I want to try traditional twins because I believe I can get more air and enough boost with less egt and drive pressure, if I ever can spool those turbos with nitrous :roflmao:
I had serious heat problems with heads last summer and have to try something else now.

I like your truck. I need to build something for next year. I've got a good motor, but my truck is not set up for racing or pulling. We are putting twins on it hoping to go to the DPC. When we get done I need to build a drag truck. Would like to do a 57 Chevy.

Some update with not much new, been busy at work and building one turbo bike, and waiting parts to come.
But now I have windows, seat, belts, dry sump pump and nitrous kit home.
Transmission is coming soon, I will stay for now in Duraflite because it worked so well last year. But now it come with Omega shaft and stubby housing.
Still waiting chutes and fire system, and looking for air shut off system.
I am little late on schedule and still working with fibers, but truck will go to our biggest car show in april so then it must at least be painted and look like something. Hope to get it running some test runs next summer.

Looking good man :thumb: From a aesthetics point of view I believe the front wheel wells should be molded to fit the tire better IMO.. Not that its going to make it any faster but just more streamline.. Regardless awesome build :)

In nature wheel wells looks good. They will need some strengthening and aerodynamic modifications. But position of wheel with fender is ok.
Problem with pics are that my garage is so small that I cant get pics of complete truck side, and because we have 1 meter snow I cant take it out of garage for pics.

Makes sense, looking forward to seeing it finished in paint...

Well maybe not so baddest, but chassis is made with pro mod specs and buildt to fit full size silverado body. So unique it is, and driver (me) will sit almost half meter higher than all other competitors :roflmao:

Looks great Mika, question..Is an airshut off system required with a common rail diesel in Finland? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe that is required here?

It is in most pulling organizations, a common rail can run away also

Well, it is now required here:roflmao:

I had meeting last autumn with our national drag race association for some rule changes so I could drive this vehicle. Here is few rule changes I got in SPET that comes in my mind now. I had to suggest some safety elements too, and air shut off was one of them.
-In old rules only n/a aspirated diesel was allowed, now charged diesel ok.(Some weird old bug)
-Diesel may use nitrous in burnout too, and dont need 100% throttle switch
-manual throttle plate not necessary in diesel, but instead of it wire launched air shut off, pedals in cabin and outside, 11.99 and faster
-must use stacks in all 11.99 and faster (competitors were afraid of smoking clocks)

If a turbo explodes or something else dumps oil into the intake stream, a common-rail can run away just the same as any other diesel, as Rob said.
