I never primed mine, I just unhooked bale connectors so it wouldn't start and hit the starter for about 10 seconds. hooked bale connectors back up and fired it up. With the amount of assembly lube they use it's not really going to hurt the motor, plus my first break in oil was 5-30. ;)

I do similar thing

Made this today. Sprayer cost 9.99 at the Home depot. The fitting cost 8.00 at Parker store. Screws right into my oil feed line on my valley s400. Fitting part number was 10656-6-4. (I ended up having them make me a long feed line also since mine was just a tad short) Worked like a champ. Put a gallon of oil in and pumped it up. It pumped it out slowly while I worked on other stuff. No mess.
