PPE IMO is a better kit as the pully is sized right for racing....JMHO

either way though having 2 cp3s is a 1 less worry about running out of fuel!

Were are you doing your math from lol. There priced about the same as the other. Your looking at the price of one with and one without a pump.

Depends on who you get it from, i got my ATS with all the braided lines with no pump for 1600, that was 4 years ago from Kyle Micheals. Anyone sell a ppe for that price now?

PPE has a bigger pulley dont they? So does spinning it faster help hold more rail pressure? Ive talked about it to a few people and wondered.

Right, but from what I was told, the ideal rpm from the cp3 was 3000 to 3500 rpm so if your motor is turning faster than that, then you want to underdrive it; in other words you want the bigger pulley.

Yea, i meant that opposite, ive heard people say this too, just wondered if there was any proof, or it was just marketing. Ive never had any problems with my ATS kit holding rail within a reasonable amount.

It's the end users choice. Both kits do what there made to do. By the looks of are vendor list if he goes ats we will not be much help if there is issues with parts or anything. So the members that run the ats kits will need to step up and help the end user out on tech support.

Im mostly curious on the pulley deal. I think Tim and I are going to test a cp3, and see if it loses effenciency with higher rpms. If it does, id look into changing mine. Sjd has a full test stand that can pretty much test anything we want with a cp3. Id like to know if its true, or just marketing.

I also would like to know this.

Micheal Tomac did some drag racing test on these along time ago but it hard to tell because he run different heads and injectors but apples to oranges I dont see how it could make that big of a diff just my :2cents:

[email protected] mph ATS turbo, KD 20% over injectors, PPE Dual CP3 kit, EFI Live, w/o nitrous

[email protected] mph ATS turbo, KD 40% over injectors, ATS Dual CP3 kit, EFI Live, SoCal stage 2 heads, w/o nitrous
