I have been running mine for a week or so, it feels much stronger now that my relief valve isnt leaking any more
X2 My truck seems to pull much better through the gears.

GM states:
The fuel pressure relief valve opens only to prevent excessive pressure in the event of a malfunction. Fuel from the fuel pressure relief valve is returned to the fuel tank
In the event a malfunction happens to the cp3 and we get more pressure than commanded? That sure would be nice, some people would pay a lot of money for a malfunction like that to happen. but sence it doesn't and the valves just leak, i see no danger in plugging it.

So, is this run in addition to the shim kit, or in place of the shim kit? Thanks in advance.

So the 06 is the same for location when compared to the LBZ but is it the same?
Does anyone have this valve in their LBZ??
What is it set at for cracking pressure (when it starts to open)? LBZ commands higher rail pressure right so I am thinking it may not be necessary.

its necessary :D

That's a pretty expensive plug then!! Thinkin the 3 dollars worth of washers to shim would be fine then.

I guess a guy just has to do the pop bottle test to see if it is needed or not.

Well as for my original question, i ran 1 tank of fuel through the engine and hand calculated 17.7 mpg. which is a bit more than i usually see but i think i drove a little more freeway this tank. So the race valve does not hurt your milage.
