then install the locking plates

ok time to move onto the head studs

make sure to use the moly they give you

and install then in by hand

next get your head gasket,not sure which your using , But mine were grade c

after there on they will look like this, there also marker Right and Left.

next on to getting the heads ready to install

make sure you heads have been checked to be true and all valve seats are good

 

[ripmf666]

even if they look clean from the machine shop reclean just before you install them your self.

next add some moly lube to the studs and install the washers and nuts

 

[ripmf666]

and tq your heads to the specs that arp or who ever you got your studs from

 

[ripmf666]

next get all your push rods

 

[ripmf666]

make sure all are straight

 

[ripmf666]

and all the tips are good

 

[ripmf666]

we use 2+2 brake clean to clean everything off
